Bath Abbey Ticket Portal

Abbey Admission

Whether it’s to pause and reflect or light a candle, discover centuries of history or simply enjoy the architecture, you’re always welcome at Bath Abbey.

Journey through history as you admire the stunning architecture of Bath Abbey. Learn more about its history and the people who made the building what it is today. Speak with the stewards and chaplains, who are on hand to answer your questions and provide more information about what goes on in this thriving church. Head down to the Discovery Centre to experience the stories of the Abbey. Take part in dressing up, try your hand at writing like a monk, and hear the gospels in Old English. Marvel at the medieval stones and other objects from the archives, before learning about the power of water, which gives Bath its name. Uncover how the Abbey is harnessing this energy source to help protect the planet for the future.

Visiting Hours
